Oh snap. Well would ya look at that?

I also think Arkansas is the only SEC team to have a top 20 basketball and football program all time.

I don't remember exactly, it's been awhile.

It may actually be that Arkansas is the only SEC program with top 20 programs in ALL THREE of the major sports.

Either one illustrates the point, really.

First, regarding A&M, 7+6=13, not 12.

Second, we have three national championships in football that, for some reason, you failed to include.

The real question is how much longer will Arkansas and LSU be able to hold off Florida? Both programs built up a lot of those titles through their track teams and while track has bounced back for the Hogs and Tigers, Florida tends to be strong in just about every sport.

With Nike pouring an obscene amount of money into the track program at Oregon its going to be hard to rack up track titles until someone at that company gets tired of it.

A&M, having been effectively dead in national titles until recently, seems to be a hot program in that they are starting to pick up titles on a fairly regular basis.

If Arkansas and LSU can hold onto the top two spots five years from now it would be a tremendous achievement for both schools.

Something tells me Arkansas would gladly trade every single track championship for a single CFP appearance.

I know. Made plenty of mistakes. I think this is accurate now. Now it brings up a good debate about who should hold that number 6 spot...
