Jarvis Jones was a fricking beast. The fact that Mant Te'o ran away with all of the defensive awards that year still chaps my arse

It pissed me off too. The myth that Teo was great was about as far fetched as his GF.

Spikes was one of the better defensive leaders in recent SEC history, the only other guy we had on that level was Nelson who was on the Berry, Mathieu tier but more with hits than picks (just faking a hit made an UGA WR fall down).

Wasn't he one that was gouging eyes?

But he wasn't. Reggie was good but Berry and Mathieu were generational talents. Reggie was on the Eric Read, Hargreaves, Haha Clinton Dix level.

Patrick Willis not on this list makes it lose all credibility btw.

Tray Blackmon had the potential to make the list. Sadly, he was undersized, unintelligent and often injured. He ended up having his position taken by Josh Bynes, which was a good move in hindsight.

He wasn't even mentioned in the "just missed the cut." Typical ESPN.

Past decade 2006-2015

He played 2003-06, right? Sounds like they didn't consider him due to time frame.

HOF career in only 8 years. Retired at 30 and is now kicking back and enjoying being rich. If anyone deserves it, it's Patrick Willis
