From USA Today.

1. LSU, trending even
3. Bama, trending even
7. UGA, trending down
8. South Carolina, trending up
9. Florida, trending down
11. Ole Miss, trending down
18. Auburn, trending dumpster fire
24. Tennessee, trending up
31. Mizzou, trending down
33. Aggy, trending down
37. Arkansas, trending down
39. Kentucky, trending down
45. Miss State, trending down
71. Vanderbilt, trending towards baseball season

I assume this is mostly due to Fournette mega hype. Carolina is obviously due to Spurrier news.

Offseason, I know.

I was somewhat surprised by Aggy.

Could be a crock, but I think you're only saying that because apparently Aggy is busy building elephant pinatas instead of hyping their team on Twitter 24/7/365.

Hope you didn't get caught with your pants down.

Old Puss way too high. Hang a banner, preppies.

LSU too low.

Certainly not by numbers if we're 11.

Interestingly, this rank order is the same as I would rank fan bases by meltability.

Why are you only listing sec schools? I find it quite annoying having to click the link myself.

quote:

College Football Fan Index presented by Goodyear is the only digital index that combines social media activity and fan voting to determine the ultimate college football fanbase.

It’s an in-depth ranking of the top fanbases as determined through social aggregation and online polling across weekly editorial themes such as best tailgates and best traditions. The index is then measured based on social activity of each school’s fanbase, including sharing photos and videos, as well as the voting results of the weekly polls asking fans to determine which schools offer the best experience.

There’s no limit to the amount of times fans can vote for their favorite teams. Beyond voting on a weekly basis, fans will be encouraged to support their favorite schools and be creative with their social media posts, primarily on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, to achieve a high ranking within the Fan Index.

All social activity and fan voting will be tracked weekly, with rankings released each Thursday at the end of the voting period for that week’s theme.

Very scientific stuff.

All Aggy, none of the time.

Only people thinking about them is their next opponent and 50 Aggy nerds on their board posting as many stats in as many different ways as they can.
