I think its pretty obvious for us LSU fans:
1. We showed glimpses of a more balanced offense in the bowl game. Was it just for the bowl or is Cam and company finally going stop throwing our heads against the wall and get away from pounding the rock 70-80% of the time.
2. How does our new DC implement his scheme with our personnel.

Spring games are great for that last taste of football before the long summer, but there's not really much to learn from them. Saban keeps is pretty simple and refuses to give away much heading into the fall.

the only thing the game is really good for is to start implementing new schemes. I think our game will be very important in terms of building that foundation, especially on defense.

I want to see the QB throwing the ball forward rather than backward.

A quarterback.
Preferably one who does not throw the ball backwards for 20 yards.

Reminded me of when the great Aaron Brooks was our qb for the saints

I just want to see an attempt at establishing a short and intermediate passing game.

I anticipate our QBs looking awful because our QBs have looked awful in every spring game since the beginning of time.

That would also be nice to see in Auburn

1. Offensive line improvement.
2. QB competition.
3. Changes as a result of the new DC....hopefully better tackling and secondary play.

This year's Spring Game for me ...
I want to see the new guys that enrolled early. I want to see the redshirted freshmen from last year. I want to see the returning lettermen in their new roles.
I want to see execution on offense and I DO NOT want to see a walk-on QB behind center.
I want to see speed.
I want to see effort and enthusiasm ... from players and coaching staff.
I want to see the makings of what will eventually become a well-oiled machine. I want to see improvement.
I want this staff to take it seriously and not try to turn it into a show like Spurrier and his staff did his last couple of years. Make it fun, but make it worthwhile and productive.
I want to see some emotion. I want that winning attitude to return like it had been for some years prior to last year.
I want our guys to be hungry again, to have something to prove.
ETA: I want to see physicality but I do not want to see any major injuries.

As well as a few slants and over the middle routes. I know there is a time and place for them, but I have seen enough bubble screens to last a lifetime. Also want to see how the O-line holds up.

LSU rarely ever runs slant routes. It's all hooks, deep comebacks and deep ins/outs occasionally sprinkled between the 7's and 9's.

I meant for us. We had a very bland route tree with Spav.

At this point you have to laugh...
or cry ...
might as well laugh and just enjoy the ride.

I'm aware. I was just pointing out that LSU doesn't run slants either.

Really just want to see solid QB play by more than one QB

Abnormally accellerated weight gain from key players.

Hogs have to start sorting out which of the 4 4* quarterbacks is going to take over for BA.
Austin Allen has the advantage of having been in the system longest and actually having just a touch of game experience, so he probably gets the first shot at losing the job.
Rafe Peavey and Ty Storey have the next shot, having been in the program a bit.
Ricky Town may be the most talented, but is a year behind Peavey and Storey.
