If he is like most Saban players, he would be a bust in the NFL anyway. He should train for the Olympics if he is smart

No quite, Avery was only a 4star. Tony Brown is a 5star, so the better comparison world be another 5star washout say like OJ Howard.

Nfl won't always be there. He is young enough though but he is a talent on the football field. I really wanted him to come to lsu.

Oh I didn't know being a returning starter meant you were washing out of the program. Thanks for the tip.

"Tony Brown- weighs 191 right now and Tucker wants him to play around 195. Lost down from 205 to 188 for track and feels like he moves better under 200 pounds. Prior to the break he power cleaned 320 before heading to the party with his current GF who is the daughter of Deon Sanders."

Yeah, he's gonna leave.

Marlon Humphrey has an outside shot the Olympics too.

Would be great to have Tim Brown and Marlon Humphrey in the 4x100 relay.

Every Auburn fan in the world would be sent into a depression due to the love that Bob Costas would give Bama and our athletes over that two week event.

Top 3 still only qualify right? If so I'm not concerned. He has some major improvements to get there

Personally, I'd train for the Olympics. The draft will still be there next year, but I'd never again be (18, 19, 20, whatever age Tony Brown is) with a shot at winning a medal at the Olympics. And, frankly, training up your measurables can't hurt your draft stock. Getting injured on the field, on the other hand, could cost you a shot at ever going to the Olympics.

Yeah I'm sure there would be hours and hours of coverage given to a T&F athlete and especially to Bama

He had some good moments last year. He was a freshman last year who was still learning and not everyone is an freshman AA. I think he can be better this year.

But Harris sucked so bad vs Auburn!

Do you guys understand how much a track athelete, especially an Olympic medalist, makes? FYI, he could run in several Olympics if he is that talented (not sure if his ranking among elite hurdles).

I hope he chases whatever his dreams are. Being an Olympian is one of the more prestigious honors in sports.

A minute worth of coverage is like an hour for Auburn fans.

They really don't make that much, especially in this country. Yes it's prestigious, but unless they have multiple sponsorships they are really just scraping by with enough money to train.
