I would vote for Tubs over any current poilitician, but Saban is the man. The current guys have allowed our governor to operate above the law. Our Supreme Court justice was a joke. Our Auburn house speaker is a crook.

Vote Saban!!!!!

Nothing clean about this one. Anyone in Baldwin County knows Fob is crooked.

I dont know a thing about Tubbs politics, but it is funny (read: embarrassing) that the people of alabama would discount a candidate based on football experience. Shows the ridiculous importance of football there.

Yea, I'm sure Louisiana would elect Nick Saban in a heartbeat

It's not that crazy to think anyone with decent name recognition could win in Alabama as a Republican. Think about it...

4 or 5 candidates run in the Republican Primary. They all split each other's votes. Tuberville would instantly be near the top in the pecking order due to name recognition (assuming he had a serious platform). He wins the primary.

Then its him vs. a Democrat. There are a lot of Bama fans in this state who would not want Tubby governor... but there are also a lot of folks in this state who would never vote Democrat. He'd probably win.

Not only southern Arkansas. Camden, Ar. It's a great place if you love Jesus and incest.

Source: my mom worked in the Camden elementary school 35-40 years ago. There was apparently a disturbing amount of incest.

I'd take Putin straight up against him in any election. The guy is universally despised...and apparently doesn't care.

You realize you said this in the context of a former FB coach running for governor on the merits of being a former FB coach

Alabama's governor is a disgrace, but then I look at Phil Bryant in Mississippi and it doesn't look quite as bad. Then you look at Trump, and you realize voters are just batshit crazy now.

If that's what you consider childish, what do you think of Spanky's temper-tantrums on the sidelines? Asking for a friend..

You only think it's childish because you were on the losing end. If Saban starts holding up 7 fingers against LSU next year then yall will be getting boners talking about his competitiveness and drive

Dabo does more childish things than that on a weekly basis and you're all already creaming at him being yalls next coach just because he was a walk-on for yall
