Why the frick would he want to go to Missouri? Crean was at Michigan state with nick saban so he knows the process. LSU is the far superior job compared to Mizzou

Did you guys ever clean that poop swastika off the wall?

He's not a fan of safe spaces, sorry

I'm not trolling. LSU won't (can't?) pay what it's going to take to get an established head coach. You'll hire a mid major guy or an asst. will probably pay him less than your DC makes.
Sucks too, because LSU used to be a very solid program but they have become so obsessed with "beating Bama" in football they don't care about basketball anymore.

And the melt from hog fans continues after the firing of Kim Anderson.

I can see where the "won't" comes into play, but "can't" shouldn't even be in a sentence when dealing with Athletic department money. There is plenty to go around.

Shouldn't you guys be saddling up for your own firings that are about to happen?

I would love Dwight Schrute as our bball coach. Dude gets a lot of hate on this site, but I've always liked him.

Mizzou has never even made a final four and these yankees think it's a better job than LSU

Neither has Xavier, and their a better job than LSU too

Slappy in the SEC would certainly be entertaining at least.

you must be younger than 25

Ninja, please. I like to troll LSU fans as much as the next guy on here but it's debatable if Xavier is even the best job in their own city.

Yes, it is a better job. Just ask pretty much anyone involved with D1 basketball.
Now if you're talking pretty much every other sport that both schools offer, then yes, LSU would be better, but just because you've made a Final Four doesn't mean you're a better program.

I don't know if he goes to an SEC school, but there's certainly lot of smoke that seems to show Crean is leaving IU.

This is so fricking stupid!! Can we please stop with the LSU can't afford to pay coaches! LSU can afford to pay what any top coach wants, period!
Wanting to beat Alabama in football has zero to do with wanting to hire a solid basketball coach, zero! We have a solid baseball, softball, gymnastics and a girl's basketball program that seems to be coming back around. Why in the hell wouldn't we want to hire a solid men's basketball coach and bring LSU back to what it use to be in college basketball?

We haven't made "a" final four. We've made 4 of them. More elite eights than Mizzou. More sweet sixteens than Mizzou.
