Stidham will be top 5 before end of season.

Come on now

It is possible... Dak had his breakout season his junior year. Fitz has all the tools if not more than Dak. He is also bigger than dak which i think would help him in shedding tackles inside the pocket. His accuracy is decent had a bunch of WR drops last year, but i expect all aspects of his game to improve... especially decision making and accuracy on timing routes.

Just stop right there
He is not even remotely close to being as accurate as Dak

Pretty amazing this kid has passed up super hyped all world QB "The Rosen One!"

Fitzgerald will have to show massive passing improvement to leave after this season.

He's as accurate as Dak was going into his 2 year as the man. Can he turn into a finished product like Dak did? Remains to be seen

No he wasn't. Dak was 4% better his sophomore year than Nick's.
Nick is a helluva athlete for his size but far, FAR from an NFL QB. You have to throw the football very well in the NFL to be effective, you can't just run it 20 times a game and expect to get 150 yards doing that each time. Fitzgerald doesnt exactly throw pretty passes. The 4 best pass defenses he faced last year he did pretty awful in each game; Bama, Auburn, LSU and Miami (OH)

If Fitzgerald leaves early then he probably had a great season and State wins 9 games.

Going to be crazy when half the NFL starting QB's are former MSU players.

I attribute that to receivers who could catch the ball, but I'll concede the 4% if that's what the numbers say
State fans are hyped about Dak and Mullen is now recruiting higher ranked QBs than ever, but Mullen always said that Dak's effort to take his game to an NFL level was extraordinary. I don't know if Fitz has that drive and determination to be a pro

Against Alabama, LSU, Auburn
39/91 (43%)
149 YPG
2 TD/2 INT
1.6 YPA
89 Yd Rush on 41 attempts (2.2 YPC)
0 rush TDs
He's gotta make massive improvements. The NFL doesn't care about empty yards against UMass and Samford.
