The Mizlou network- syndicated network that televised the non big 4 bowl games. I think it later became metro Sports and Harry Kalas( phillies broadcaster) would do games.
Mizlou would also borrow some network guys from NBS, CBS or ABC from time to time to do play by play.

How bout the Sugar Bowl kicking off at noon- In 73 it was broadcast at night but not again in primetime until the 1982 Sugar Bowl with Georgia and Pitt. Used to suck because the Cotton Bowl played at the same time slot on CBS.

NBC televising the Rose Bowl- Curt Gowdy and Al Derogatis calling. ABC took the rights in 88.
