So let's reflect back upon last season's failed firing of Les Miles.
That short time of reading how many wanted him gone, then begging him not to go was pure, solid gold, grade A entertainment.

Look, Firing Les Miles discussions are restricted until after they lose to Alabama.. and then required after they lose to Arkansas the following week.

Right now it's the Ole Miss NCAA violations thread pattern.. because they probably won't even have a football team in a month.

Good to see that LSU fans are handling 38-17 well.

We like the attention. Just like the Baton Rouge police department.

Les wasn't and isn't going anywhere for at least 5 years. Who besides Saban has had a better record in the NFL d leauge that is the West. Like him or not he won and does win.

Yeah, 5 years ago.

Jevan Snead went undefeated against LSU. You must be proud.

Les will go 7-0 again this year. Ranked #2. Everyone will proclaim Leonard as the Heisman.

And then . . .

Frankly most of us (including myself) were devastated public pressure ruined our chances of firing him.

I'm excited about this season, but it's not like we've forgotten he still has Cam and Peveto on staff and enjoys running a 1960s offense. I actually think the offense will be a pleasant surprise, but I've seen nothing in Peveto's entire coaching tenure that gives me any hope he can coach special teams

You didn't tear down the goalposts after the 10-7 thumping, I hope. Trey Quinn crowdsurfind photo will live on forever.

Oh, where is Trey these days?
