As a school lacking much of a fanbase, we will gladly accept all bandwagon support that we can. The Black and Gold thank you for your support.

I'm rooting for UVA, but would not be upset with Ole Miss or Candy winning it. Candy especially.

I don't even mind State, but I'm really rooting for Ole Miss to bring home a baseball title before State.

Oh. My. God. I can see Bundy now. And the trollfest...it's beautiful

eta: yeah, I'm in austin right now. none of these UT kids care enough to deserve this. my mind is blown how apathetic UT fans are about baseball. I guess it's because my friends here have had a shitty product until this season

Well a little late, brah.

I predicted Vandy would win this...but...uh keep on top?

2012 Champ - Arizona
2013 Champ - UCLA

How are you staying on top if you haven't won in 3 years? Is the Big 12 the top in football by this type of reasoning?

Overall titles -

Pac-12 - 17
SEC - 9

SEC fan has strange calculations for "top" - you get 10 teams in the tourney and 2 make it to Omaha? That doesn't like top, that sounds like the law of piddling probability.

We are just so happy to have finally made it to the CWS!! Texas baseball has sucked so bad, it seems like an eternity.

And PAC12 fans have a fricked up sense of entitlement in thinking posting on a SEC blog with an overall count of titles won by one fricking team 3 decades ago bares any strength to the argument. Over the past two decades the SEC has ruled this sport.

Softball is next bitches

I apologize...

Made a mistake...

It's...

Pac-12 - 22 baseball titles
SEC - 9 baseball titles.

I wouldn't say that the SEC has dominated this sport in the last 20 years.

SEC-6 champs. LSU has 4 of those titles! LSU has been a staple in the CWS as is Texas(3 NC in the last 20 years)

PAC-5. Has done fairly well also.

You could take away all of USC's baseball titles and the Pac-12 still leads the SEC...12-9...with 6 of the SEC titles being from one school...LSU.

Hell...if we're all about talkin' recent...forget 20 years.

How about the last 10 years? That's more recent...just like the SEC touting football the last 10 years...and dominance.

Last 10 years...

Pac-12 - 4 National Titles
SEC - 3 National Titles

With two other Cali schools - adding two more titles (Cal St. and Fresno) and Texas rounding it out.

So that's 3 entire Southern States titles, 5 just California Titles and one Texas title.

It's fair to say...that the West Coast is still king of college baseball...especially California.

Has California's position as tState for baseball ever been in question?

well, according to this thread starter I suppose?

California has also won the most LL world series titles.

California has always been baseball USA.

But for some...they think baseball is a Southern thing.
