So he didn't have his temporary permit on his person from the gun store he bought it from a month ago? But had the receipt. details from Rivals
Did he jaywalk too?
He pays the fine or produces the permit.

Publix is on the strip, which is owned by the university.

Williams has one of the highest pass rush productivities in the nation. It's not about total stats but stats per passing snaps given.

Sacks. QB Hits. QB pressures.

Three stats that 3 players could easily have high % per pass att

Yeah, that was the only thing I was worried about for him. Still, I highly doubt he was keeping that gun off campus.

Who cares anymore about his stuff?

Each team has 85+ kids and there are going to be some that do bad. There are some that will make mistakes,, and there are some wrongfully accused.

I just don't personally give a damn. Let the police and University handle it.

Sounds like he didn't have a ccw permit, and I doubt he had one at all. In SC, you can still carry that pistol in the glovebox or the trunk just not elsewhere in the car. When you think about it, making it illegal to have your pistol in the vehicle, means it would be impossible to transport the pistol home from the gunstore or take it to the gun range. That's why SC has that exception. Sounds like he failed to store it in the proper place in the vehicle. I'm pretty sure USC had a case exactly like this about a couple of years ago. Its not a big deal.

You need to focus on the process and not the results

Also

Only so many plays to make. Alabama (well in past years at least) had more success when they let their defensive backfield lock down the opponents' receivers and then the line could enforce its will

So having 2 elite pass rushers instead of 3 on that line would be better? If you just want to talk nonsense feel free, but you aren't making any cents

This is a non-story. Nothing to see here.

If he wasn't doing anything else (ie, breaking any other law) then I see no reason why Williams should have any type of disciplinary action.

Right. Because non-violent gun offenses are legally and morally indistinguishable from rape.

Real talk: are you fricking retarded?

Ya we used to have to hide ours pretty well if you lived on campus - nowhere to store a shotgun/rifle and plenty of people living on campus go hunting on the weekends. Luckily it was only a concern when they do the fire alarm tests and shite.

Ahah! TW is a good man. He evidently heard Jameis was in town, and was just guarding the crablegs! =)

I love how all these people think it's the freaking wild Wild West and that you need a gun for shootouts and what not

Don't have your momma come crying when you get your arse shot in the head by some dude or policeman because you are carrying and you look like you are grabbing your gun etc

People think they are Clint Eastwood walking around. And really you are English bob getting his arse whipped in the streets.

College kids carrying handguns. Jesus Christ

My college's police department allow us to check our weapons into them, and then check them back out when we want to go hunting of shoot sporting clays.
I wish more schools would do this.

The same thing applies to handguns as well.

There is no such thing as a temporary permit in Alabama.

Permits are issued by the county sheriff.

Can an out of state resident get a permit in Alabama or does he have to get one in his state of residence?
