Can't wait for ppl to demand he get put on a roster cause he's a WINNER! And a Christian!

I don't recall anybody demanding he be put on a roster because he is a Christian. A winner? yes. I mean, there is that intangible, thing. And he took a Denver team that was horrible and made the playoffs and took them to the second round, IIRC.

I didn't now he played baseball, so I don't know what his abilities, etc are.

I found it just as laughable when people wanted him out of the NFL because he is a Christian, yet wanted Michael Sam in the NFL because he was gay.

I really don't think it was him being a Christian that cost him his NFL career, I always thought is was a lack of talent, I've been wrong before.

You would be correct. I get so tired of hearing this. Most NFL owners would bring in Jesus or Satan if it could produce W's and/or $$$$$$$$$$$$$. If he was worth a darn he'd be on an NFL roster.

Will he be the pitcher or the catcher?

You obviously didn't live in Jacksonville. I've heard this and countless variations. It was often disguised as "high character" but frick... some people even wanted to make him a congressman.

It's kind of sad that the only thing UT fans have to brag about the last 10 years is a QB in the NFL that never beat Florida...

HIS TEAM never beat Florida, but he did his part. He also has 2 Super Bowl wins. Has a Florida QB ever won the Super Bowl? Ever played in the Super Bowl?

Wow, imagine that... People wanting a man of good character to represent them in Washington. The horror!

How come everyone wants to bemoan the lack of character in the NFL every time there is a domestic violence incident... yet when a man of solid character comes around, they want to belittle him for having good character?

People of this world are constantly ridiculing Christianity because of hypocrites in the church, but then when a man like Tebow comes around and is anything but a hypocrite, they attack him just the same. Tebow has done more charity work and good for people in need than probably 99.9999% of the world's population. Michael Sam wins awards because of where he prefers to stick it, but Tebow is ridiculed because he meets with sick kids who are in need of a little sunshine in their life. How messed up is this world? It shows the haters don't actually have a problem with hypocrites in the church, they are really just bigoted against Christianity in general.

Just like Shaun King and TJ Yates. Tebow played putrid the week after that win.

Who wanted him out of the NFL because he is a Christian?

"Persuing"

I don't really understand the hate that Tebow gets. The guy is a competitor, if he can't cut it in football, who am I to say that he shouldn't try baseball?

Why do people care so much?

Actually yes. Rex Grossman was the Qb for the bears when they lost to Peyton and the colts in 06

Outside of the commentary by the OP, I actually DO wish him well. He is a gifted athlete, no doubt about that.

Because the attention he gets far outweighs his ability. If Tebow was a competitor he would have gone to the CFL. This is a publicity stunt
