COLUMBIA, S.C. - 'Tebow Time' is coming to Columbia. Former Heisman Trophy winner and two-time BCS National Champion Tim Tebow will start his professional baseball career with the Columbia Fireflies, Mets Manager Terry Collins announced. Will you South Carolina fans flock to see him?

Florida-sessed.

I'd go see him, and I am not much of a baseball fan.

Is there anything wrong with that?

Not wrong, but certainly strange.

How is this Florida-sessed, exactly?

YOUR former qb is moving to Columbia, home of the Gamecocks.

Seems more like your qb is South Carolina-sessed. Columbia-sessed. And considering his propensity for seeming very gay, no doubt Cock-sessed...Question is, exactly which cock will be be obsessed with?

The response to Tim Tebow in Columbia will be overwhelmingly positive. You are talking about an SEC legend and outspoken Christian playing in an SEC town in the Deep South with a large Christian population. I hope he does well and enjoys his time with the Fireflies.

This is the truest answer. Maybe Muschamp talks him into making a couple of appearances at practice. Doubtful, but you never know. Favre was there this past week.

No doubt they are fired up about it there. Should really boost attendance. I suspect they'll have some of the best attendance in the minors (home and away) for as long as Tebow is with them.

I live just around the corner from the stadium. We go to quite a few games... this will at least be interesting.

Single A ball is absolute shite, though. I haven't played since I was a senior in HS, but I still think I can lay down a bunt better than 80% of the guys in single A. The games are usually good for some laughs.

I wish him the best but just don't understand him doing this.....Those over night long bus trips will get old.

Can't understand why he wouldn't give Canadian football a try before even thinking about minor league baseball.

He will be a novelty act there. He'll give some interviews, say "God bless" a few times, sell some tickets, then quit.
