Only 7, if you continue to only use the AP poll, but I would say since the advent of the BCS, the AP poll means very little in terms of naming a champion.

The AP poll has never meant much of anything when naming a champion. The BcS was only slightly better.

Won't argue that. But it was at least better, but it did at least bring it to one champion (inb42003)
