....and replaced by Ed Orgeron. The first two ended in a disaster.

Ole Miss fired Cutcliffe without having a legitimate hire in the bag. We ended up hiring Orgeron as our 6th or 7th choice. That led to a dark period that rivaled the Steve Sloan years.

USCw fired Kiffin and replaced him with CEO at 3 in the morning on an airport tarmac. They ended up with a drunk, and a nasty lawsuit. Now their program is still melting down years later.

We are now seeing Chapter 3 in this saga. Fire a coach with no real plan of how to replace him, and you get Ed O.

Why will this time be any different?

From the movies that were made today I would say they at least had a phase one plan.

You hired him as head coach, LSU just let him take over as interim.

As of this moment, you made the bigger blunder.

Oh course it was. The right time to fire him was last offseason. He didn't change a thing on the offense, why expect different this season?

He was fired when the the guys in charge realized that a few games too late.

Not the key. But the common thread. Yes.

Hmmm, how do I post this without revealing too much. I will make it easy, the plan has been in place for some time. Just like the Ole Miss AD and Administration has a plan in place if something were to happen to the Ole Miss head coach. All athletic departments have a plan B and plan C

The events of last year's LSU-Texas A&M game indicate otherwise.

You think this was knee-jerk?!?!? So this was just one week of terrible offense?

It'll only be different in that after Ed O leads them to a disastrous season and their first hundred choices fall through, they have to flip through the White Pages to find Hootie's number to call for some heppin'.

Orgeron did a damn good job after Kiffin was fired. If he beats UCLA it would have been her for Haden to not hire him.
