First off, I am a rook coming from TexAgs so sorry for my mistakes, but I wanna hear everyone thoughts on this
A&M fans are pretty unanimously thrilled to be playing LSU (especially near thanksgiving) to replace the Texas rivalry
But do y'all think we can compete and do you think it will be a mutual rivalry or one-sided?

I think the game saturday showed our potential to have this grow into something as good/better than ours was with Texas and i don't recall LSU having a major historical rival for very long

Definite potential. From all the shite talking on here last week, you would think that it never stopped.

to A&M getting stomped in TS next year, again. :rivalry:

well, we don't like you so there's that.

We don't really care how you feel about us.

Good game and atmosphere. I for one am glad for a new rival. Yes I think you can compete. Unless we find a coach who actually knows how to run a offense.

I think LSU/A&M can be a premier SEC rivalry game...just hope it isn't ever Thanksgiving weekend. Late October is ideal.

I'm glad we are playing each year and enjoyed my trip to CS.

Y'all really need to up your shite talking and stop with the moral victories. When you lose, you lose.

Other than that, I'm looking forward to it...and your renovated stadium, hopefully without bat shite.

I've never once driven through Louisiana and thought to myself "Well, this place is nice."

Hoping for a victory for the Ags next season as Johnny improves.

LSU/A&M WAS a good historical rivalry. Until the 70's when LSU became much less of a military school, we opened with A&M every year, usually in Tiger Stadium. Military traditions at both schools fueled the rivalry.

PS-- until WWII, LSU aand Texas A&M were 3rd and 4th in production of US Army Officers (Chennault, Lejeune) behind only West Point!

It will become a blood feud. Once A&M catches up in recruiting it will be a war. Pumped about the renewal.

I'm a big fan. We haven't had a real rival (outside of Alabama) in my lifetime.

We have probly have had the most disappointing football team the last few years, high potential, never great results. Moral victories hopefully end NOW

don't worry, WE CANT WAIT for a new one with less "endangered species" crap and really hoping the enclosed stadium will help with trapping sound as well.
