I know today will be a troll day full of laughing at Mizzou, Arkansas, etc.

With the said whats the rants thoughts on Boom. I dont blame UF for canning him, they had to. He seems to be made to be a coach. Acts like a coach, talks like a coach, and his players love him.

Im hoping Boom and SC are a match made in heaven and as of right now I would rate him in the top tier of SEC coaches.

As much of a farce he is with his sideline antics, I'd take him over half the coaches in this league.

I think the past two years and so far this year have proved Will wasn't the problem in Gainesville. He was hired to clean up the program and was probably about to turn the corner but he wasn't doing it fast enough so in comes Butterteeth. Now the program is back to Urban's Thug U but a bigger shitshow than when Muschamp atleast had it clean.

That being said I think he will have Spurrier type success at USC then gets snatched away to a bigger program.

Nice logic. Everyone but LSU fans would take him over "O".

What coaches would youn rather have?

AU, MO, UT, aTm, KY, VU, OM...I'd take Muschamp over all those guys without a second thought.

I don't have any ill will towards Muschamp, unlike a bunch of Gator fans on here.

He had to go yes, and probably wasn't ready to take a job like UF back in 2011, but he has definitely impressed me so far at South Carolina.

And yes, I'm at the point where I am considering I'd rather him have stayed than Cormac McSharkFricker take the job.

There has to be something beyond what the common perception is of why he failed at Florida.

In retrospect it doesn't make sense.

I have no idea if he is going to be able to win Division or Conference championships here.

But he is an incredible recruiter, and has put together a bang up staff, at least for recruiting.

Maybe we get to the point where we go to Atlanta, maybe not. But he is doing everything anyone could possible expect right now.

As hard as he works though, it would be very hard to make headway against Florida or Georgia (maybe even Tennessee now) if the other team has a coach just as motivated and good at recruiting. But the jury's out on Georgia and Smart still (though it's looking better for them), and to me at least Tennessee and Florida have perennial sh#tstorm coaches until they dump them.

That's a lot of words to say him failing at Florida is kind of mind-boggling given what I've seen from him in 2 years or so at Carolina.

If he does leave here to take another job at some point, the team he leaves will be in very good shape talent wise and be fundamentally sound.

So I really don't get what happened down there. Has to be more to the story. Will say I think he runs intense practices, and this new Catapult monitoring system might be a reason why he hasn't had the injury problems here he had at Florida.

The biggest reason he failed at UF was because of injuries and offensive recruiting that didn't pan out.

Injuries ruined UF in 2011 and 2013.

Missouri really put the nail in the coffin in 2014, even though Muschamp regrouped the team and they destroyed UGA and Vanderbilt.

He was getting let go regardless of what happened against South Carolina that year.

I've said before that I don't have ill will towards Muschamp and think he's a good fit for South Carolina. But let's pump the brakes until he beats some good teams. If he loses to Kentucky or something, ya'll motherfrickers will be melting like the rest of us.

I think Dan Mullen has done a superb job At Miss St, but he has to be 2nd tier to Saban. Saban has turned Alabama into a Machine, while Mullen has turned Miss ST into a winning program

He is doing a good job but he needs to pick it up in recruiting if he wants to compete for championships. That is going to be very tough with Clemson getting anyone it wants.

So you think Muschamp is about to do something that has never happened before in the history of Scar football?
