I think it would. The way he attacks space and game plans against teams weaknesses would cause a lot of problems. Consistently? Idk. But pop up and upset the best team in a conference and then make a headline zinger...

The defenses are too good in the SEC for that to work over the course of the season.

Hell, its basically Southern football in general. I read where Hal Mumme had a QB throw for 500 yards and 6 touchdowns two weeks ago for Belhaven. Pretty amazing.

They got be 80-40 though.

Bama, yes. The others, no.

Yeah, but I think that is the only big job he would want.

Close to the keys. Could swing his sword. Lots of players who could fit his system.

Don't think he would want LSU. My take though. Only job I think he might leave WSU for is Miami. He's past 50, so I think he winds up riding it out up there.

Would hate to see him in the SEC. When he was in the BDF he regularly won those games where he never had a chance. When you played Texas Tech (or Wazzu for that matter), you better bring your A game.

Loved him but hated him when we played them.

That being out of the way, he would be a perfect match for Vanderbilt. He is smart (Law Degree), can turn good players into 5 stars.

Love him when we don't have to play him. Suggest you read his book Swing Your Sword.

The 2013 Auburn team beat them and held them to 24 points. We did not have a good D that year.

in consecutive years

Wazzou shut down USC's Heisman QB...
Gotta have talent on defense, you can manufacture yards on offense with less talent but with defense a 3 star db covering a 5 star wr is a long day for any DC..

Don't think he would work at L6U, but he would be hell on wheels at Auburn.
He now has a good DC so he knows it takes D to win.

He is entertaining and obviously a real head coach (unlike the current LSU HC). But I don't think there's any real chance he would win at the highest level at LSU. There are games he just seems to check out on before they start.

Just because Louisiana has a backwoods water culture doesn't mean the guy who pretends to be a pirate would be a good fit there. This rationale is literally what gave you guys your current coach. Maybe take a different approach this next time. Like maybe a coach that plays pro style to fit the talent level LSU is able to recruit.

Wrong PAC 12 coach. It should’ve been Willie Taggart. Impressed at what he’s done with Oregon

Pro Style requires the most talent, Spread offenses were created out of necessity due to not all teams having top talent across the board.

Agreed. I've had enough of Orgeron. I don't need one of his cronies to succeed him.
