Orlando and Jacksonville are also being considered.

I think it's the fairest option considering that the Superdome would basically just be a home game for LSU.

Nashville will be a lot more neutral. I hope they do that for the sake of integrity.

Do LSU fans really want to play two games in Nashville this season? They are already slated to play at Nissan Stadium for the Music City Bowl.

For the most part, I agree, but the Superdome would be 80% LSU fans compared to 60% in Houston.

Nashville would be a closer representation to what Houston would have been.

Move it to the Sun Bowl in ELP.
No chance of rain there.
Neutral location.
Anywhere in the South might be soggy this weekend.

the dome won't be full. bet there would have been more LSU fans in NRG than in the dome.

PLEASE ESPN send this game to Orlando!

It will be a BYU home game with all the LDS members in the state coming to see their Cougars!

Buahahahahah!

Houston was a home game

The Superdome would be the best cause it will be packed. Good experience for both teams

Or Provo would be fun

You honestly think that Houston was going to have 40% byu fans?

How long do they wait to make a decision? Anything other than the Superdome or Dallas would require major travel changes for fans.

Gotta think tomorrow is the last possible day to change the venue?

Houston is also a home game for LSU. Houston would be a home game for LSU against every SEC opponent except Texas A&M. At this point I don't think its about being fair, they will want to go where it is the safest and they can get as big of crowd as possible. This is all on ESPN, LSU & BYU have no say.

I think the interesting dynamic here is that ESPN has the final call. They're the ones putting it together, paying the schools, etc., so it makes sense why they have the ultimate decision on this.

But ESPN has botched a lot of shite too lately, so who knows what will happen.

I guess that's an automatic win for BYU since the fans will be on the field.

Nashville would have maybe 15,000 people in the stands.

Mr. Foley? Is that you advising about making a decision promptly regarding a game relocation?

Let the teams assess their injuries first.

Why do you care? Honestly? You've flamed LSU up and down every thread remotely related to the relocation of this game, and neither you, nor and your University are in any way involved (obviously, since contingency planning appears to be moving along without a single hitch).

In all actuality, your AD should be taking notes on how the LSU and BYU ADs are working with ESPN and handling this. Just goes to show you how smooth contingency planning can go when all parties involved are willing to sit down at the adult's table and discuss.
