After a couple days away from the game, I feel better about the loss.

It's similar to Bama turning the ball over 5 times against us, it's like, what can you do? Gave the ball up twice on our own 35 yard line.

I was impressed with the young oline and how dominant the Dline was.

Running game especially Judd looked strong but the coaches failed to utilize him.

Our WR core looks sick and has me feeling pretty good.

Overall with some more experience for the secondary and some tweaks by the coaching staff I think we can still win 8-9 games.

Outsiders feel similar about your own teams?

Ole Miss will be fine. Beat Bama and you're right back in it.

Appreciate it. I think all sec teams will get stronger as the year goes on.

That's gonna be a hard fought game, for the first 3 quarters but I think Bama's depth will be too much for Ole Miss.. They'll be 1-2 after that game.. Bookmark this!!

This is what should be most concerning for you with that huge lead.

Our secondary has me really worried. As does our lack of running game.

If we can get out of September 2-2 and 1-1 in the conference, we have a chance to win the rest of our games.

But yea, I see about 8 wins right now assuming we are 2-2 at month's end.

I guess so. But to go from from killing a team to getting killed is odd. Reminds me of our UT game last year...and we didn't turn out all right. Of course that had much more to do with losing Chubb than blowing a big lead.

I'm not saying they will win, I just think at this time, they have the best chance and will be in good position if they do.

Definitely still in the hunt for that type of season.

It really sucks for OM that Webster and Swinney are out for the season. Two positions that are already fairly thin.

How many true freshmen played the other night? I saw Brown, Metcalf, B. Jones, Hartsfield, and J. Jones and also heard Little played but I guess I missed it

I agree... They'll be fired up and this game would revive their season... It's gonna be a good one...

I believe seven freshmen played. The secondary was the greenest.

OL and secondary are really bad.

Running game is non-existent.

DL and Chad Kelly are very, very good, which can help to hide the two areas that suck.

There are several toss ups on your schedule, but its an overall solid team.

AJ Brown
DK Metcalf
Greg Little
Eric Swinney (Redshirt Freshman)
Van Jefferson (Redshirt Freshman)
Jaylon Jones
Jalen Julius
Deontay Anderson
Benito Jones
Myles Hartsfield

All true/redshirt freshman I saw play a good bit Monday night. Besides Swinney with his one carry before getting hurt.

Rusty AF - he didn't even practice very much during Fall camp.

He may never be the same as he was though after his injury - too bad.

I turned game off at halftime, had to go to work in the morning.
I was shocked when I saw FSU had come back.
Ole Miss dline was dominating the first half. I guess the momentum all changed with the score before half.
Lesson learned - you have to play all 60 minutes especially in a road like atmosphere.
Ole Miss D was good early even with all the losses from last year. Slow start could doom Ole Miss though
