As we know both fan bases, and even some stragglers, have tagged the other with a certain nickname regarding our relationship with the other.

Bama and some others refer to Bama as "Big Brother" and Auburn as "Little Brother".*

Now with the addition of LSU we will need to find them a place in the "family". So I'm going to go with middle child because of them being likened to possess middle child syndrome.

quote:

Middle Child Syndrome
The middle child, unlike the others, is not given much attention. The following are just some characteristics that define middle children. Note that not all of them or maybe even none may be observed in middle children. Middle children have low self-esteem. They need support for anything they do, sometimes talents are wasted when they do not pursue their dreams. Middle children have a feeling of emptiness. They are always lonely and are jealous of others. This is a very broad trait, since it affects every aspect of their lives. They may be a little weird, unfriendly and even worse, psychotic because of this feeling of emptiness. The two traits mentioned above can interact differently with different personalities. For example, an introvert middle child may prove to be more depressed and lonely than the extrovert middle child. There are a lot of possibilities for middle children, but the results are mostly negative.

What do y'all think? Any other suggestion?

(* - Auburn fans know that Auburn is Bama's "daddy", but it didn't work for my suggestion.)

EPIC FAIL...

No other Institution is on national TV more than LSU...and no other College Coach gets more attention than Les Miles.

And just another little tidbit...

You're sorry arse is on OUR board...sooooo...who is looking for attention?

Well first question is, are you refering to this year or all time? either way there is a simple answer to either question as compared to LSU

Im talking mostly this year...but in the 2000s...i still say LSU is right up there. Ya...Notre Dame has a deal with CBS for its home games...but I still dont notice them getting more attention by national media.

Don't want any part of being in a "family" with Bama and AU

How about the cool neighbor that occassionally invites u to the best parties on the block...

And take care of your wife/gf while you're out...
