Actually I don't believe a word of that

Ask Walt Oreilly, he was with me.

This is becoming too easy.

Luther Davis and the #1 flea flicker receiving threat in the nation next year. Kenny MF Bell.

They did take the top two out of Louisiana last year.

Some of us have known this for months now FWIW.

If the only 2 DBs that you can name from La that were big time players are Janzen and LC, I simply dont know what to tell you. It doesn't surprise me, however. Maybe you can go ask all your LSU buddies to rattle off a few for you.

That's not what you said, you said 5*

No one knows how a recruit will pan out but as far as 5* go those are the only 2 I can remember. The entire southeast produces stud defensive backs, 2 from alabama just went in the first round, both of which were 5* out of high school..don't act like that's a louisiana thing

Well if we had beaten bama 21-0 in the ncg we coould peobably snag a couple top recruits from al too.
Other than that, most of LA's top recruits stick to LSU

I thought it was official when they moved the 9-6 game to nighttime.

I'll say this..if Bama can knock off LSU at night in Tiger Stadium this year then they deserve to be national champs again

5* is so subjective. They have like 4 websites that rank that crap and hardly any of them even scout La kids.

I'm talking about big time college DBs, I couldn't care less where they are ranked by some idiot website run by biased fans. I simply mispoke. I was referencing guys that play at a high level in college, which is obviously way more important than what someone ranks them in high school. La produces those year after year. Take Collins. We'll land a future 1st rounder in his place anyway.

and as many touchdowns last year as the chosen one OBJ

Don't forget eddie lacy, I know he's no spencer ware but I think he'll crack the 2 deep

LSU only got 4 out of the top 10 last signing class.

I agree, but that's all we have to go on until they step on the field. Like it or not most LSU fans would have rather had collins last year than any other DB they landed

thanks to trick plays and flea flickers

and luther davis had as many career sacks as brad wing.

he's a good back that had terrible grades in HS and didnt get an offer from LSU until a week before signing day. Alabama "stealing" Lacy really killed LSUs run game. If we only had a good RB or 2, maybe we could win a few games.

As far as these DB trees, I recall Janzen Jackson and Landon collins, both of which left the state...who am I forgetting because that's only 2 branches

LSU has had the top DB drafted the past 2 years, with Eric Reed having a chance to make it 3 for 3. I think I'm ok with LSU talent in the secondary.
