Gumps,

I don't know if you see a pattern emerging or not, but more and more players from the "L" are committing and going to "How to be a Gump School!". This is actually great. In five more years, if Saban is still in Gump Land, half or more of your team will be from the "L". We will have successfully taken your football program from you. Although the "L" players will be wearing Crimson, the rivalry and game will be...

The Best of the "L" vs. The Best of the "L".

Effectively the "L" will have two real chances to win the NC. You Gumps will be rooting for Louisiana players.

You will come back with it doesn't matter where you come from, it's where you geaux, but you know the "L" has invaded and become your winning team. I think this is the most IRONIC thing to happen in college football. I mean all teams get a few players from other states, but lets be honest your school is now our school!!!

We are so loaded with talent that they can't all go to LSU, so we use your school as a Platform to put as many players as possible into the NFL.

Remember those players from the "L" are simply visiting Gump Land for 3-4 years. Every "L" player you put in the NFL makes Louisiana look good and you guys like, well... GUMPS!!!

Ok, guys rip this post up but the truth stings just a little!!! Have fun with it!!!

Pulled this from my 4th post on this topic so people reading this see the Psychology behind it. If you understand the Psychological part, great, you understand it was a Con that a lot people fell for hook line and sinker. If you don't understand it, stay "Gumpish", we love you guys that way. But mostly I was having fun.
This is simple Psychology. 5 Steps to changing a persons mind. I may not have changed your mind completely but your responses say it all.

SIMPLICITY: Keep your message short, sharp, and simple to convince people it's true.

[me] I succeeded in this part. While my actual text in the message was not short, the Subject "This is for the GUMPS!!!" and my message were relatively simple.

PERCEIVED SELF-INTEREST: Con men agree it's the key to getting us to do something we didn't think we wanted to. (So be sure to focus on the benefits to the person whose mind you want to change, rather than emphasizing your own wants and wishes and emotional history. NOT: I'll be sad if you don't, BUT: You'll be happy if you do.)

[me] I succeeded in this part. While I understand the "L" has too much talent and I would love to have all that talent at LSU, It's not about what I want, it's about what Alabama wants. Great players from the "L". Admit you guys are happy to get great Louisiana recruits.

INCONGRUITY: Surprise people -- tell them your cupcake is 400 cents rather than four dollars and they're far more likely to buy it.

[me] I succeeded in this part. I think I more than surprised everyone!

CONFIDENCE: The more confident you are, the more we believe you're right -- even when we know your facts are wrong. (Think aggressive politicians and other salespeople.)

[me] I succeeded in this part. I definitely displayed pure confidence even when the facts may be wrong or skewed.

EMPATHY: Look people in the eye, nod when they nod, tell them you're from the same small town they are -- we trust people like ourselves. (We prefer to work with those who happen to come from a similar tribe, whether that means the same town or perceiving some other form of connection.)

[me] I succeeded in this part. Some of your "Star Players" are from the "L", so the perception is definitely there that Players from the "L" have been nothing but stars for your team! And when Saban took over you got our former coach, so there is definitely a connection there.

Seems as though this Psychological experiment worked just fine. Thank you for proving it.

There has never been a more perfect description of your state than "L".

The only thing that stings is the realization that 20 seconds of my life has been pissed away in this thread.

In what arse-backwards, dilapidated corner of your mind did posting this garbage even come close to resembling a good idea?

I hate when LSU fans act like the A&M fans on here making dumb moral victory threads despite an embarrassing losing streak
