LSU is currently 48th in third down defense, down from 31st last season. I thought this was supposed to be a key area of improvement this year under the new defensive coordinator? For comparison's sake, Texas A&M under John Chavis has jumped from 67th to 37th in third down defense. Curious what has caused this drop

Yeah, but Chavis ruined your offense.
More likely we beat every team, not named Alabama.

Our safeties have been hurt the entire season. Jalen Mills and Corey Thompson were finally healthy for the Alabama game and there were no coverage breakdowns.

It's only third and long with less than 5 minutes left in a game against a top 22 team where the lead is less than 9 points and the drive started inside your own 30 yard line or something right?

Lost to Auburn

Still mad about daddy LSU.

Trying to claim moral victory over Chavis.

Pathetic.

This might have been their year if they could have maintained their defensive dominance from the pre-Steele era
