After the cuts, they show more commercial than game. Why can't they edit out the dead time between plays as opposed to half the game?

worst thing is every non ESPN network that shows replays does it right by editing out dead space instead of random chunks of games.

I agree. They cut out a lot of plays.

Yes, and they have the gall to say before the sections of the game that the've excised, "due to time constraints....." Bull! There are no "constraints" other then the self imposed formula of cutting out actual game clips in order to show more commercials in a given time slot. Thats the fkn "constraints" they're referring to. I have no doubt but that most people interested in watching a replay want to see the whole game. Idiots!

It's really frustrating when they do it to a classic game, I remember them doing that shite to the 2013 Iron Bowl last summer. They cut out like the whole 2nd quarter.

this is what is annoying. I'm okay with them cutting it down to 2-hour blocks. But is it really that tough to do a no-huddle version like Fox?

They left in the two doofus announcers talking during a replay review instead of cutting that. Meanwhile they cut whole series. Seems like a no-brainer fix to me

I get that.. I guess you guys didn't get the "why even have a SecN" response.

Here I'll try to to explain.

I've always dvr'd games, but our conference now has its own network. Replays are a great idea for programming in this new network. They are showing replays of every team in the conferences games weekly.

Since they are showing the replays, I wish they could show the entire games.

They are fitting the replay into a two hour slot. If they would show all live action and edit dead time, they'll have about 25-30 minutes of replay, and can double their advertising time. It would also allow every snap to be shown.

Was that elementary enough?

I agree with you. I also feel like they could show a wider variety of games, rather than just showing ones from last year that we all remember over and over.

well it would be better if they just showed the whole game from the prior week at a specific time each week for every team

quit showing a bunch of old games except SEC Rewind which is ok on Sunday night

Develop some better original programming so we don't have to watch the same 30 for 30 or SEC storied shows for a year

Due to time constraints, we now move forward in the action.
