If GA tech had Louisville players running that offense it would be so scary, that offense is really unstoppable

It's incredibly frustrating

It's like 3yards on 1st down . 4, then your de crashes too hard then it's 60 for a score with Lamar Jackson

I don't know, GT is already the premier wing T team in the country and while their recruiting rankings aren't incredible they are decent and can pick their type of athlete from the whole country.
Now, if they had Louisvilles QB they would be a lot better but so would most teams.

The only P5 program in the country that actively prides itself on running a contrarian offense with a contrarian head coach that uses a contrarian recruiting approach. That program exists to swim against the current in all facets for no other reason than a misplaced sense of elitism.

Yeah, it's great if your goal is to destroy your football program. Works for a time or two until your opponents figure out how to defend it, and recruits figure out that it's a dead end to their football career. By the time he's done, Paul Johnson will have dug a 15 year hole in Georgia Tech's football program.

Nailed it. Pseudo-intellectuals out thought themselves.

Typo, I corrected it. From context it is obvious what I meant...

Has Georgia tech switched the wing T this year? I haven't seen them play yet. Paul Johnson has been a flexbone triple option guy for a LONG time.

They do not run the wing t. They run the triple option which is light years different than the wing t in QB steps , series of plays, and blocking schemes.

Correct.
OP, What is your argument for the Wing T being the best? If I was hired tomorrow as a HC I'm gonna implement a base single back offense similar to what Saban/McElwain runs

I'm pretty sure that offense has beaten UGA a time or two.

Slot T can be even more confusing. It's awesome to watch with the perfect QB
