if auburn continued doing what they did in the 4th quarter on offense, instead of trying to get cute in OT, who knows, maybe they would've actually won the game. the D was leaking like a siv, but goddamn, they held wisky to FGs on their last 2 possessions....sucks that auburn couldn't take advantage.

if bama continued running to set up the pass (after all, the 2 RBs averaged 6 ypc in the game) instead of abandoning it for an inexplicable "air raid"-type philosophy, maybe they would've built on that 21-6 lead, instead of handing the momentum over to OSU.

if bo wallace spiked the ball on every snap, ole miss loses by 17-21 points instead of 39.

and so on....

They had that terrible punt in the 4th that gave us the ball on their 22. All we had to do there was run it down their throats and take the lead, but no we pass on the first play of the drive and throw an int.

Makes me sick, worst playcall of the year considering the circumstances.

If vandelay industries decided not to make this thread, there would be 999 shitty posts instead of 1000 made on january 2nd, 2015 on the sec rant.

He was wide open on that play. If Sims puts some air under it, it is a TD. The way OSU was moving the ball, that play wasn't the difference in the game.

if my aunt had balls, she'd be my uncle.

Seems like coaches outthink themselves sometimes.
Happens to everybody.
Sometimes you lose.

What if you got to selectively change individual plays in a game with hindsight...

Really makes you think...

no arguments there....but a tiny part of me almost wish we got blown out instead, just to remove all the second-guessing

No one cares about your frickstick bowl.

As far as real bowls go, Ole Miss has the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man coaching our OL and have the depth of a Nicholas Sparks book across the board. That's why we lost.

Alabama's game plan was about as good as mine when I try to lay game at the bar, and it showed against an inferior team.

Nothing we can do about it now.

from a selfish standpoint, i wish they'd care at least 5-10% more....it'd make life a little more bearable among opposing fans at the workplace.
