The way we pounded Mizzou, over 400 yards on the ground

By committee with Guice and Williams primarily, without Fournette.

The defense was fun to watch, best performance since the '11 season.

Too early to say what we can or cannot do for the rest of the season. The optimism at TRant is palpable, and of course, there are those who are thinking "let's run the table." Hell, there were people thinking that the day Miles (and more importantly, Cameron) got fired. If we beat Florida's arse in the Swamp this coming weekend, I may start to believe again.

Up until then, Mizzou is not very good. We pounded them like a tired, swollen cock sheath.

That wasnt a full week under Coach O, either. He turned around the locker room culture in less than a week. Just imagine what he'll do now. This team will improve. The SEC has been put on alert.

Being an LSU fan must be like riding the American scream machine and never getting off.

I was cautiously optimistic at first and it's slowly building. I'm actually amazed at what this staff has been able to accomplish in a week.

The point is that this year matters to us, even after a couple of early losses, and that is simply due to a change in staff and a change in atmosphere around BR. The team finally played to their potential. 42-7.

There's no delusion in knowing that LSU is a damn good football team after last night's pounding. Just needed the right leadership/changes.

The question I have is whether LSU can replicate that kind of intensity every week. I don't know, so I won't say. The next game will tell us a lot.

So, just like the Auburn game last year right before the wheels fell off?

Tennessee has already emasculated Florida. They'll implode just like they did last year after the LSU game.

I thought that's why Miles got fired, not going through the air enough.

Maybe it's Fournette's fault that he couldn't get enough yards for his coach.

The way y'all are carrying on you're making Phat Phil look like a balanced, reasonable poster.

Miles got fired because of his allegiance to the OC Cam Cameron, and frankly, because the players were growing complacent under his tenure by this point.

I can say being an LSU fan this year has been stressful, but yesterday was like restarting of the season for me. I'm excited to see how we do this weekend at Florida, the fun is back for now.

what have I said that was unreasonable? Have I predicted that we would run the table, just because we flattened Mizzou? No. All I am really pointing to is that the change couldn't have come at a better time, and that LSU is a good football team who had not played to their potential up to this point. It should be interesting.

Exactly. Last night it became fun to watch LSU football again. This weekend will be telling, I believe.

Hey, I'm not overstating the win. Simply enjoying it and looking forward to how things play out with Orgeron.

Maybe you ought to wait till you get a bigger SEC West win than beating State by 3 at home.

Wow, what an awfully qualified statement.
