quote:

Vanderbilt: Sept. 23 vs. Alabama, Sept. 30 at Florida, Oct. 7 vs. Georgia

The 'Dores have to face the premier program in college football before playing the two SEC East frontrunners. Making matters worse, this three-game stretch is bookeneded by a home game against Kansas State and an away trip to Ole Miss.

quote:

Missouri: Sept. 23 vs. Auburn, Oct. 7 at Kentucky, Oct. 14 at Georgia

The Tigers' remarkably forgiving non-conference schedule breaks up many of their most difficult stretches of SEC games, but this late-September, early-October run will be a challenge.

quote:

Ole Miss: Sept. 30 at Alabama, Oct. 7 at Auburn, Oct. 14 vs. Vanderbilt

Ole Miss will be going on the road to two of the toughest environments before welcoming cross-division rival Vanderbilt to Oxford. This could be a tough year for the Rebels, so surviving this stretch with their dignity in tact will be crucial.

quote:

Arkansas: Oct. 7 at South Carolina, Oct. 14 at Alabama, Oct. 21 vs. Auburn

South Carolina won't be the easy out they were the past three seasons, and y'all already know the deal with Alabama and Auburn.

quote:

Kentucky: Nov. 11 at Vanderbilt, Nov. 18 at Georgia, Nov. 25 vs. Louisville

The Wildcats have one of the more favorable schedules of any team in the SEC, but there's the potential for a great season to be soured by a three-game losing streak down the home stretch.

quote:

Mississippi State: Sept. 16 vs. LSU, Sept. 23 at Georgia, Sept. 30 at Auburn

The Bulldogs are trendy preseason sleeper picks, but the bloom could come off the rose early with a brutal three-game stretch to open SEC play.

quote:

South Carolina: Oct. 28 vs. Vanderbilt, Nov. 4 at Georgia, Nov. 11 vs. Florida

The back end of the Gamecocks' schedule isn't nearly as forgiving as it was in 2016, and this stretch will test the depth of Will Muschamp's young team.

quote:

Texas A&M: Sept. 30 vs. South Carolina, Oct. 7 vs. Alabama, Oct. 14 at Florida

Going 2-1 during this stretch will be the minimum expectation from Aggies fans, but that will be easier said than done.

quote:

Tennessee: Sept. 30 vs. Georgia, Oct. 14 vs. South Carolina, Oct. 21 at Alabama

It was the month of October that did the Vols in last year. Emerging from this stretch 2-1 or better would do wonders for Butch Jones' job security.

quote:

Florida: Oct. 7 vs. LSU, Oct. 14 vs. Texas A&M, Oct. 28 vs. Georgia

The Gators get their annual helping of SEC West foes in consecutive weeks before what could be the most meaningful Cocktail Party in quite some time.

quote:

Georgia: Oct. 28 vs. Florida, Nov. 4 vs. South Carolina, Nov. 11 at Auburn

After two tough SEC East contests that will decide their fate in the division, the Bulldogs then have to regroup for a road trip to Auburn.

quote:

LSU: Oct. 14 vs. Auburn, Oct. 21 at Ole Miss, Nov. 4 at Alabama

The trip to Ole Miss won't be what it would have been two years ago, but an away game sandwiched between Auburn and Alabama is always a tall order.

quote:

Auburn: Oct. 14 at LSU, Oct. 21 at Arkansas, Nov. 4 at Texas A&M

Three straight road games is tough, but three straight SEC West road games is among the worst hands you can possibly be dealt.

quote:

Alabama: Oct. 21 vs. Tennessee, Nov. 4 vs. LSU, Nov. 11 at Mississippi State

The bye week between Tennessee and LSU takes some of the load off, but this late season stretch will show us what Alabama's really made of.

We make it through this undefeated and I feel like we get into the playoffs.

Typical Bama SEC league favoritism! Why doesn't Bama have to play Bama? Now I understand what you guys have been complaining about.

Without looking at every schedule, I find it really hard to believe that Vandy makes it into so many "toughest 3 game schedule" lists...

Considering LSU and Alabama both have a week off prior to their game I don't consider that a three game stretch. To me tough is three without an off week.

Beat LSU, Arkansas, A&M and then seal the deal with a win over Bama... yeah Auburn probably gets spot in the playoffs and well deserved.
