In the SEC? I'd switch someone in for UGA. We'll be around 6-8.

Top Tier (serious SEC Title contenders)
Alabama
Tennessee
LSU

Next Tier (more unknowns, possible contenders)
Arkansas
Ole Miss
Georgia

7-8 win teams that could ruin someones season
Auburn
Texas A&M
Mississippi State
Florida

Bad teams that will hover around 6 wins
South Carolina
Kentucky
Vanderbilt
Missouri

a good QB goes a long ways

I don't think they finish top 3 or ahead of LSU but it is certainly not impossible

The odds are certainly in their favor to be in the top 4 or 5

I mostly agree with this:

Auburn

The East is a crap shoot...you almost have to put 3 teams there just because none of them will be THAT great

I think on paper Georgia and Tennessee should be the 2 best teams. The only other team that can cause problems is Florida, and I'm still not sure they have a QB on campus who can give them enough to do that.

Can definitely agree with your assessment, with Arkansas maybe bumping down to the 7-8 win category if one of our QBs doesn't step up the way we're expecting. As it stands right now, that's the most important question for Arkansas going into next season and the only spot im personally worried about. We have a stable of 4* QBs with time in the system so we're all fairly hopeful, just no major experience for any of them.

I think his choices are the safe one

but there will always be some fringe teams that can go either way. Florida and Auburn are a couple

Interesting breakout...UT definitely has the easiest route followed by LSU

Any of those 4 bottom teams could slide into the 6-7 win range. I still think all 4 of them are going to be pretty bad, though. Clearly the 4 worst teams in the league, though 1 might become slightly better, sweep the other 3, win their 4 OOC games and boom, 7-5.

Mizzou should finish 3rd in east, with the help of upsets 2nd isn't unrealistic.
