And aggy has a grand total of one in 113 years.
You aren't just "not a blue blood," somebody needs to check your pulse.

You're little more than the aggy court jester.
You claim to be a historical top 20 team. One title in 113 years isn't exactly top 20 material.
And zero titles in 78 years.

you claim to be a blue blood. one title in 47 years isnt the resume of a blue blood

But one in 44 is? You are playing games.

Come on, aggy, say it; Ohio State wasn't a blue blood in 2001. You can do it.
Posted on 9/22/17 at 1:46 am to texashorn
will you finally admit to texas not being a blue blood in three years after they go one in fifty?

We are now approaching 2 in the fricking morning and you're still on a site that has absolutely nothing to do with Longhorns or the Big 12.
You've gone from simply obsessed to sad and depressing. Time to reassess your life.

Poor aggy. They think they are sleeping giants. 78 years asleep is Rip Van Winkle territory.
Face it, aggy, you aren't even a has-been, you're a never was.

and once you accept that texas isnt a blue blood we can be done here
Posted on 9/22/17 at 1:59 am to WestCoastAg
Poor aggy, jealous of Texas' blue blood status.

I'm not sure why I'm surprised, your school and culture is rooted in jealousy.
Posted on 9/22/17 at 2:04 am to texashorn
and your school and culture is rooted in a deep insecurity that causes it to have a grossly overinflated opinion of itself, your point?

Blue Bloods:
Alabama, USC, Oklahoma, Notre Dame, Ohio State
All 5 have plenty of Championship success. They keep the BB status because of the pinnacle they've reached plus the consistent winning they've had without titles won. If anything Alabama is in a tier of their own at this point.
Nebraska used to be part of this class above but they've not won a conference title since 1999 and have not played for the NC since 2001, whether it was deserving or not. They've won some games but none have lead to a major bowl appearance since the 2002 Rose, plus 20 years this season since a national title.
Michigan's status is way over hyped. Their beloved all time coach, Bo, did win many games, but only win 20 percent of the Rose Bowl games UM appeared in, and 0 national titles. Their only national title in the dual wire service poll era happens to be a split with Nebraska in 1997. UM might be the leader in all time wins, but they started in 1879, and was a power at the turn of the century.
UM has fared OK since the departure of Carr. Several Rose Bowl appearances, although no wins since the 1997 NC; have one major bowl win, and constantly living in the shadows of the Buckeyes.
Texas is not like Michigan or Nebraska. The Horns won often in the 70s, 80s, somewhat in the 90s and were very successful in the 00s having to compete with similar dominance in Oklahoma. Horns achieved 9 straight 10 win seasons under Brown which included 2 Big XII titles, 3 major bowl wins, 2
NC appearances, and the 2005 national title. UT hasn't held the same consistency since 2009 but that doesn't put them too far removed from that dominating period.
Nebraska's stock is dwindling year after year.
Michigan is stable since the Harbaugh regime took over.
Texas is relevant, in a confused state about what their identity is, somewhat dwindling, but still hanging on.
I could go on and on. Here's how I'd rank the programs all time based on everything, past and present:
1. Alabama
2. Ohio State

The only conference where a governor was involved with the cheating
As an LSU fan who grew up when there still was an SWC, I'm glad to see this series still alive. I always respected what A&M and Arkansas had going. Hell, even when Houston had the Run and Shoot going on, I still wanted to see how A&M and Arkansas would attack it... I remember one of y'all trying heavy blitzing, the other played a 2 man D line with 9 in coverage. As I recall, both games ended up very close.
Side note, I wish there was a way to revive the Oklahoma-Nebraska series. Games like this make me nostalgic for classic football matchups.
