No matter who gets in, the Sugar Bowl is going to have a subpar SEC team.

Not true. The merchants of New Orleans prefer for visiting teams to come in and spend money from out of state. Fill up hotels and restaurants and bars. They aren't the least bit worried about ticket sales. Most SEC schools travel well.

They really just don't want Florida they have traveled terribly for the last two Sugar Bowls they were in. That same reasoning you listed gets thrown out a lot and it is true to a degree, it is has to be the right visiting team. Having LSU really does not lead to much of a drop off. The Michigan v. Va-Tech game was horrendous.

No shite, I know this. When I said they don't want FLA, I meant they are hoping FLA isn't the highest ranked. If Vandy beats Tenn things will be very interesting.
