Well the summer continues...
Florida State’s star running back Dalvin Cook’s trial for misdemeanor battery started Monday.
Cook is accused of punching a woman multiple times in the face at a bar this past July. Cook was immediately suspended indefinitely from the team, but he has denied the accusation, maintaining that he never punched the woman.
Oddly, the state rolled out its argument against Cook first thing Monday morning, and Auburn was included. Tom D’Angelo, FSU’s beat writer for the Palm Beach Post, is at the trial. According to the state, things escalated after the woman told Cook that her then boyfriend played for the Tigers. Says Cook then "punched her in the mouth."
ETA: Actually confirmed: D’Angelo later tweeted that her boyfriend is injured Auburn cornerback T.J. Davis.
He will walk for sure...

Oh he's totally going to walk this trial is fixed like one of those Klan trials in the 60s- FSU Alum judge, FSU employees on the jury, disallowing Cook's prior record to be mentioned, top flight defense Attorney, prosecutor from a Florida Gulf Coast whose only been a lawyer for 3 years.

Gus is up to some new tricks.
Sent his players' girlfriend to get Cook kicked off of FSU's team so he would transfer to AU. Gus will do anything to win. TPOS.

Thugs beat up women and don't belong on campus...if he did it....bye bye. It looks like East Missisippi JC is starting to snag misfits and castaways.

Hitting women and transferring would make him a Big 12 lock.

The actual story is sketchy as frick. Cook may very well have hit her but there are way too many holes in the story for anything to actually come of it

This story seems like BS. At least in other cases you had a ton of witnesses or better yet, video of something. You have nothing here.
