The state of Alabama owes Clemson an apology

Clemson had a magical season and it was taken away right at the end. There's nothing that can be done now, and the trophy has to stay at Bama, but something should be done to acknowledge the greatness of that Clemson team and the pain of seeing it slip away at the end.
So to that end, a peace offering must be made. Clemson, you are cordially invited to come to the state of Alabama on September 3rd, and kick the living shite out of a team from our beautiful state. It is our way of showing friendship and sacrifice to a quality program.
Welcome to Alabama, and please enjoy your massacre with our blessings. It's the least we can do.

It's important to laugh... It's good for the soul. And to be sure that was pretty damn funny.
However, just to be absolutely correct, given that only about 32% of UA's roster is from the State of Alabama maybe, just maybe, it's the rest of the country and not the State of Alabama that owes Clemson an apology. Just sayin'....

Wow, you got me. I feel so low now you really put me in my place. Please forgive me for stating facts oh wonderful one. I guess if all I had to live for was a few weekends of football every year then I guess I would just simply end it all.
By the way, congrats on the NC, you all have a great team and a great coach. Thankfully, though, you don't have to depend on just the football talent from your state.

I had Auburn friends comparing Chizik to Saban almost as soon as the clock hit 0 after they beat Oregon. That's not a flame or anything, it's just the way it is. It's almost like Alabama and Auburn are rivals or something.
