The reason I asked earlier about A&M's bowl record is I was wondering why their record is so abysmal. We have roughly the same amount of bowl appearances, but our bowl record quite about the opposite.

Abysmal would be SCar's bowl record. It almost seems a concerted effort was required to achieve this.

Only thing is these teams werent the big six from the 50s til now. Not really a good comparison.
