If the fan day for an opposing football team is in the top 100 events of your year.. You're doing life wrong.

Much like a decadent Roman, I like to be amused.

Don't worry, I know the Gumps at The Running of the Gumps are the very, very "special" ones and are in no way comparable to your everyday citizen Gump.

The vast majority of Gumps I know are normal.

Mostly.

Hoping for a few more spills this year. They are getting good at it.

Me either. When my kids were little, I would take them to the autograph session after the A-Day game to get autographs, but there are too many adults in line. Honestly wish they would only do autographs for kids under 15, if you're an adult an need a bama garden troll or an Auburn helmet signed by an 18 year old kid, your priorities are fricked.

I agree. The autograph stuff was cool when I was 8. Now I'm 38. Grown men acting like that is kinda creepy.

You think someone will have a baby to autograph again this year.

what amazes me is he actually incorporated "barners" into his sign. I didn't realize actual people in real life said that, I figured it was just a message board thing.

I like to imagine that he gets bored while he is waiting, and will randomly get up and write another phrase on the poster. My favorite is the poem:

If you want to go to Heaven
And walk the streets of gold
Remember the password: Roll Tide Roll.
