Allegedly 52 rapes by 31 players in 4 years. Culture of "show em a good time"
That culture of "show em a good time" exists to some extent at a lot of SEC schools too, but I don't think any schools in our conference would lose control to the point Baylor did. I have faith that the administrators at our various schools would have handled this much better.
And if it wasn't obvious before, Briles is scum who will never work in college athletics again.

A lot of LSU fans on the coaching changes board wanted Briles for HC, and then again for OC
The same ones who laughed at Arkansas for firing Petrino with cause wanted the guy who did something even worse.

With Petrino, the riding dirty was consensual. I didn't have a problem with it personally. Probably the money and job he provided for that chick was what put it over the top.
P.S. She must have needed the money bad to let that sociopath nail her. Just saying.

If story is true then Briles needs to do time. I wouldn't be surprised if one of the Texas fathers took matters into their own hands

I'll wait til Briles' lawsuit plays out first, then I'll have a definitive opinion on the matter. Enough people have claimed the Regents are the ones who deserve to take the fall for suppressing information...not to mention, if Briles truly was guilty of everything the headlines are saying, then Baylor could've fired him with cause & not pay him a dime, which isn't what happened...

What about that now disassociated Bama booster hosting parties and the pictures of Bama players with a bunch of girls hanging all over them

paid or not, Briles' guilt won't be definitive based on the result of the lawsuit.
Briles was The Don of BU football, unless one of the few that were directly involved with Briles on this breaks the code of silence he will remain teflon in the courts.
Court of public opinion different story. The man is a sleaze ball and always has been. Takes "win at all cost" to new levels.
