In the late 00's it was LSU then Florida.
Today it is Bama.
That will change when Nick is gone, but for now the SEC gets more respect simply because Bama is in it.

And one last thing - I don't see what is so wrong about admitting Bama is a dynasty and nothing any of us will do can beat them.
I mean frick, they are getting more loaded every year. This would be a rebuild year for any other team and they are dominating.

LSU has a great class so far - 3 5 stars, 9 4 stars, and 7 3 stars. in line to pick up 8 or 9 4 stars, and maybe another 5 star or 2 in that group.
Alabama has Eight f***ing 5 stars committed, 11 4 stars and 3 3 stars.
most of the other SEC schools barely have any 4 stars. of course Georgia, florida, tenn and auburn get more than the others, but still, no wonder Alabama is winning. DAmn!

Well to be fair Bama's wins don't help your team like it helps my team. Your team is pretty solidified regionally, you don't need a brand boost to attract Louisiana talent because you get it all anyway.
In fact Bama winning hurts your team because Nick Saban uses the excitement of an annual great team to poach Louisiana kids that would otherwise go to LSU. Meanwhile the kids he poaches from Texas would go to LSU, or OU, Texas or even a FSU if Bama didn't exist.
It is a completely different situation. I get why you aren't a Bama fan. I just don't see why you attack me for being one.

I am true to my team. I want the best for my team. But I admit my team had a very shitty brand prior to 2012 so we need all the brand help we can get. What Bama's success does for our brand is appreciated.

What I care about it what builds up my program. Not what is best for the sport or what is best for fans of the sport.
