The Rant's Game of The Week

To cut down on threads, we should pin a game of the week. That way we can post all news, thoughts and other info in that thread. Keep that flaming down though, just good football discussion. For instance, this week would have been LSU vs MSU obviously. Next week could be Bama vs Ole Miss or The Tiger Bowl. In weeks that we have multiple intriguing match ups, we could pin more. Just a thought. Also, we could vote on what gets pinned. What do you guys think?

Seriously, no one thinks this is a good idea? We have had like 30 threads started in the last hour about the LSU/MSU game saturday.

This would be an awesome idea if we were a PAC12 OR BIG12 Board, but you know in a week or 2 there will be big games all over the SEC and then they come week in and week out after that.

Good idea. The rest of tRant can be used for Arky flames and it will be easier to ignore them.

good theoretically... but sifting through 100 pages to find some info about the starting left guard kinda sucks.

I'm down with it. I assume you mean LSU's game will be the game of the week...every week. Otherwise, it's a really dumb idea. It will double the amount of threads as people start threads to flame which game was chosen. Just stick with pinning the LSU games. Everyone luvs LSU. :-D

Needs to be an entire sub-board for it. too many people want their posts to be seen and it'll get buried with a quickness. Could use the same board for the Gameday posts.
