The Problem With Moving A&M v LSU to Saturday

Thanksgiving is an expensive time to fly. A lot of people already have plane tickets booked and hotels booked. Many would have time to figure it out but many others would have to cancel their plans to come to the game and eat the cost of plane tickets. Why should Aggie fans be penalized for something we had nothing to do with? How does the SEC justify throwing a wrench in everyones holiday weekend plans?
ETA: I have family that is flying in from the west coast. They have a wedding the Saturday after Thanksgiving in Georgia. Moving the game would cause them to miss out. I'm sure there are many other instances of this.

I agree
I am flying to LSU vs Bama hope they don't screw that up. SEC really can't involve other teams in my opinion

Same could be said for LSU.

Why should LSU in general be penalized for Florida's incompetence?

Who spends an hour in the airport, an hour and a half in flight, another hour in the airport, just to avoid a five hour drive? We aren't all OT ballers.

Oh boo woo.. suck it up. If anyone is getting the raw end of the deal here it's LSU..blame UF for not wanting play.

While true I would think ESPN would be the biggest driver. They're not going to just give up big time Thursday night game without a decent replacement.

3 SEC road games in 12 days is a daunting task. If the aTm game isn't moved the SEC is going to be asking a lot of LSU.

No it can't. It was your game with UF. It wasn't your school's fault it happened but it was your game that was messed up. It isn't right to mess up another conference game in the process. Travel isn't cheap.

Well kind of. it involves you and UF, not any other teams. Yall handle your business and stop asking for favors.

Not all of our fans live within 5 hours of Cstat or BR. Some people have jobs that take them to different parts of the country or world.

If the playoff committee is okay with moving selection Sunday, then that is clearly the best option

I'd bet money the game never gets played. I'd also bet it doesn't matter in the end. Neither team wins out IMO

if other teams don't cooperate, UGA or A&M, the game won't be played.
3 road games in 12 days plus loosing a home game that a recently devastated community needs is way too much to ask.
What SEC nneds to start discussing is changing commissioner. Terrible leadership.

Damn, Miles is gone less than a month and LSU has already lost all chest.

not LSU's problem honestly. We aren't going playoffs under any scenario

Has nothing to do with chest and everything to do with wallets

An 11-2 sec team gets in

At least one more SEC team is going to get pulled into this it's just a question of who. All those "melt" posts and trolling LSU this weekend won't seem so funny when it's your team getting screwed by Foley's incompetence and Sankey's feckless leadership.
