Meyer is shitting in his Cheerios right now. Saban already made his arse quit. Here we go again.

I agree.
5 conferences, 4 spots, somebody was always getting left out.
The AP Poll and the Coaches poll has TCU behind both Ohio State and TCU as well.

When you think about it, I wonder if they put FSU at 4 last week in order to more easily justify dropping them out if they lost to Tech and it backfired.

I think Baylor got fricked in this. They beat a a top 10 team and had a #17 ranked schedule v OSU not beating a top 15 team and the #38 ranked schedule.
Really doesn't matter though. We've made CUM quit before and we can do it again.

I disagree. Baylor had a better resume than Ohio State.

er ....I like OSU much better than TCU but they deserve to go.....their only lose was to Baylor in OT'S which only happen because of same really bad calls by the refs at the very end! And the big 8 is a much better confs than the big Ten as of now.....Osu and Baylor's losses were way worse than TCU>>>>what a sham common sense!

Can't wait to see this happen again

But, OSU beat the frick out of Wisconsin. 59 - 0 is the kind of numbers most teams put up on FCS.
You just can't argue with that.
Regardless -- FSU is finally going to get absolutely fricking stomped by Oregon.

I think Baylor got fricked in this.
Baylor beat TCU (top 10) and Kansas State (top 15). Baylor lost to a 5-loss team.
Ohio State beat Michigan State (top 10) and Wisconsin (will drop to 21-25 after terrible loss). Ohio State lost to a 6-loss team.
I'm not sure how you look at those numbers and decide that Ohio State has the better resume. Baylor clearly has the better resume. Ohio State has the recency effect working in their favor, and that is the reason they are in and Baylor is out.

I agree that they got it right, but I don't necessarily agree with this. Just be one of the best 4 teams, in their eyes. In the future, an 11-1 Big 12 team with a convincing OOC win and resume will get in.

Yes, this is the reason. If you step back and think about it, the implications of this decision are bad. The committee has basically signaled that they will reward teams that (a) run up the score and (b) do it on the last weekend.
So....we've taken anything objective out of the formula and we're going with the ole "eyeball test." How is that progress?

Who were Baylor's nonconference games? How many bowl eligible teams did they beat?

They beat as many Top 25 teams as Ohio State, and Ohio State lost to a worse team. Head to head comparison favors Baylor, and its a no-brainer.

Ohio state has more money and name recognition... Thee end.
Their resume is shite.
