Despite being a 6 point dog Florida is likely to prevail straight up.

Overall Florida has far more improvement than LSU year over year. LF was great last year and he's great this year. The rest of LSUs offense not so much. Harris isn't much of a passing threat but he can pull it down and run.

Comparing these two teams comes down to what they do well, how much they've improved year over year, and coaching. LSU escaped the Swamp last year with a 50 yard Field Goal with 8 seconds left on the clock aided by 2 Jeff Driskel interceptions with a HORRIBLE coach. Somehow I don't think that's how it's going to play out this year.

I think the line is wrong and Florida should be favored by 7. This is the "Play of the Week". Take Florida +6 and laugh all the way to the bank.

eta - By game time I think the line will be close to Pick em - one of the biggest line moves this year.

I don't think any team should be favored by 7 points on Saturday night in Baton Rouge, especially lower ranked Florida.

Don't forget Andre Debose scoring two TDs on special teams.

Will Grier's 2 road starts:

@kentucky
13-22 125 yards 59% 0 TD 1 int
@missouri
20-33 208 yards 60.6% 0 TD 0 int

Saturday Night in Death Valley is a totally different animal compared to those stadiums..

Grier won't be able to handle it. Death Valley will be louder than ever before.

McElwain knows Tiger Stadium will be rocking - and he'll scheme for it.. All LSU is going to do is give the ball to LF. That ain't gonna cut it in this game. Florida has too much defensive talent and a much better coaching staff this year. If LSU can't throw it for at least 200 yards without turning it over they don't have a prayer in this one.

LF has 1024 yards and 12 TDs through 5 games this year.

He only had 1034 and 10 TDs through all of last season.

Acting like LF is the same this year as he was last year makes you look incredibly stupid.

I think the play of the week is Mizzou +16 to UGA or even OM -9.5 against Memphis.

I believe the UF LSU game is a toss up but no way I would put any money on I it.

Have heard this against ever opponent. You underestimate how nasty our OL is.

McElwain can scheme all he wants...its not gonna help Grier when his eyes start vibrating from the crowd noise and he throws a pick 6. LINK

Grier's grown every week, he's the next SEC player to win the Heisman.

I can't wait for the game. The atmosphere should be just like the 2007 and 2009 games. I'm glad that Florida is playing well again.

We're only a 9.5 point favorite over Memphis? Easy money

Partially correct. Florida D front 7 if committed to stopping LF7, they will hold him somewhat in check. BH will have to loosen them up. First team to 27 wins. Let's just hope Elmer Fudd and BDP don't get in our way to victory.

LF is going to get his. McElwain has basically said as much; but there are many, many games where running backs run for 100+ yards but their team still loses. Should be a fun game to watch either way.
