Football players are human beings. They are not the property of the University and they do not belong to the fans. They have the right to protest and they have a right to make demands. Why shouldn't they?

But they are getting a free education to play football. So when they stop playing football what should happen?

They have the right, and we have the right to not support them and think they're being foolish

I don't think anyone is saying they shouldn't protest (I'm not anyway). But demanding someone lose their job because of a few random incidents of racial bigotry on or around campus is just dumb and it's sad that a school like Mizzou would meet that demand.

If they refuse to play the school can revoke the scholarships. I'm not sure why the school didnt just do that.

They are not getting a free education. They're paying for it in blood, sweat, and tears. Sure Mizzou could pull their scholarships, but they didn't because that would be outrageously stupid.

That's some communist propaganda shite right there if ever I've seen it.

Wanna know why?

And we as fans have a right to disagree with the protest. They are using their stature as a student athlete and public representative of the school to push their agenda. We have every right to use our free speech to disagree with that action.

I don't think anyone's denying their right to do so. We're just exercising our right to think they're stupid.

I said at the beginning this was about office politics. EVERY college scandal that involves the administration is about office politics.

There are some racist comments, yeah.

I wholeheartedly disagree with the firing of the Missouri president. It is SJWs demanding a world without anything that disturbs their precious sensibilities.

In short, the Left is totalitarian, and speech is a problem for them. You are either ok with that, or you aren't.

I like freedom, ergo I can never be Leftist.

They have the right to protest like we have the right to tell them they're fricking morons.

All they did was segregate themselves. Congrats.
