The Petrino to Auburn conspiracy.

Something I've been thinking about... Everybody knows Auburn has coveted Petrino for some time. This is no secret to anybody that has followed the SEC.
Okay, the story starts with Auburn hiring an Atlanta coordinator. BVG was Petrino's DC. Before you call me crazy hear me out...
What if this demise of Auburn this year was actually planned all along. PTB at Auburn hired Petrino's main assistant this year. Petrino intentionally tanked his 2012 campaign with the condition that his defensive staff would be in place in 2013 under BVG at Auburn. Chizik fired but all assistants offered a chance to return.
Here is where it gets truly manipulative and somewhat crazy. BVG was actually working for Petrino all along. His entire purpose was to undermine the Auburn coaching staff to bring in Petrino. His defense this year looked nothing like his previous teams, which were stellar.
So, Petrino shows up at Auburn with basically an intact NFL defensive staff, hires a few assistant coaches, keeps Trooper (prior contact) and hits the ground running with pretty much the same staff he had in the NFL.

BVG was Petrino's DC in waiting. Petrino brought him in. Also both had ties to the Jaguars and knew it each other previously.

If Petrino was going to intentionally tank his Arky gig, he would have found a better way than having a motorcycle wreck with a ho on the back of the bike, or getting beat up by her boyfriend. No, the route to go would be to feign stress disorder, like Urban Meyer did.

Auburn fan. Dig Sci-Fi. Conspiracy theories for the most part are batsh#t, including the one the OP suggested. I find them fascinating/angering in equal parts.
