He definitely is.

But he isn't the greatest.

Still, it is pretty damn nice to be in that company, I bet.

What does he do now, I wonder?

He is still young(ish) and has so much football knowledge.

He really tore it up tonight with that 9.9 QBR....

He also has the 2 worst QBR's of any QB to ever win the super bowl. Not to mention in 4 Super Bowls he's thrown for 3 TD's and 5 picks.

Peyton might be the greatest regular season QB ever, maybe, but he was consistently dogshit in the postseason.

Might want to check your facts there, bud.

Warner and Craig Morton both lost with different teams.

His post season numbers are comparable to Brady's. He is the undisputed GOAT whether he won tonight or lost.
He is the 5 NFL MVP and has made the Superbowl with 2 different franchises and 4 different head coaches. He holds all the important records for his position and anyone who watched him in his prime knows he was the best to play the position.

The Peyton/Brady argument is dumb

Peyton was #1 highschool recruit, #1 draft pick, and actually lived up and surpassed all the hype. He not only redefined the way the position is played he elevated the position to where it is the most important position in all of sports.

Brady was some 6th Rd draft pick that lucked into a great situation with the GOAT head coach and a well run organization. He eventually became a good QB after a few game manager seasons where his defense won a few championships. Since the patriots have become an offensive team he is 1-2 in Superbowls and has a slightly above. 500 playoff record.

No, he's not.

The only place in America where people believe that are in the South because you weirdos ride his jock since he's your region's golden boy.

Can you make a case that he's the GOAT? Of course. But undisputed? No way in hell. I guarantee if you polled the nation about who the greatest QB of all time is, they would say Tom Brady.

Peyton Manning was an all-time great, but some of you guys are blinded with bias because of his SEC and regional roots.

Yeah. Sure. Pre-game show they showed MVP's from the past 50 SB's. I guess you missed the part of Brady being introduced to a loud chorus boo's. So loud I bet it deflated brady's evening.

Wow....Brady became a good Qb? Brady is top 3 Qb on everyone's list when his career ends. Should be regarded as best ever by most. Manning should be top 5, but hard to argue that he's legit top 3 with his career postseason performance. If stats mean jack, Brees will be just as notable as Manning. If consistency and championships mean something, Peyton can't touch Brady. Not even close.

bullshite. Look at it this way, if Brady accomplishes the same with 4 different teams then you might have a valid point.

Because most are too young to have ever watched Joe Montana in action.

Montana was very average at every part of the game, but he got results. Brady is better in my opinion. Give Brady Moss for more than 1 season and it would not be close. Montana played on some of the most stacked teams in NFL history. He didn't have to complete many passes over 15 yards. They lived in 7 yard slants and short passes to backs and tes. It's harder now to build teams that can be that good and consistent for do long, yet Brady has been elite and consistent far longer than Montana. They are comparable, but Brady is the best of all time.

This is why Montana is the greatest in my opinion...he was unflappable.

Isn't that John Candy?

Montana vs Cincinnati

If he only threw short slants and short passes to backs and TEs...then: 1) why didn't defenses just take away the short passing game; 2) why did Jerry Rice have so many freaking receiving yards.

You don't throw for over 350 yards in a Super Bowl and be predictable/one dimensional.
