Actually it puts more emphasis on and give more points for the revenue sports (thus why Alabama has so many). You only received points for football. So your mediocrity is more than well earned.

I must have missed it, when did Alabama become good in basketball or baseball? Poll is a sham.

As the only men's team to EVAR win the cup, The Florida Gators welcome you to our competition.

I don't get these Capital One Cup and Sears Cup standings at all. Alabama won 4 national championships and finished runner up for a 5th title (men's golf) last year and finished like 6th in the conference. How the frick is Auburn practically even with Alabama and ahead of Ole Miss so far this year? How is that even possible given that Alabama won it all in football, made postseason in basketball, and are currently ranked in the top 5 nationally in softball, gymnastics, men's golf, and women's golf.

None of these sports have been included in the rankings yet, they don't get factored in until the championship is awarded and they can award points for where your team finished in the rankings.

I could be wrong, but I dont think I am. Bama finished tied for 2nd in the SEC in Basketball & only has 2 SEC losses in baseball. I'd say they're doing well.

I have wondered this myself. This point system was made by frickers from up north and put more value on sports that northern schools generally do good at

Capital one cup rankings are meaningless. If I'm not mistaken it uses like 12 or so set zsports and if you're school doesn't have that sport than your school automatically gets a 0 in that sport.
