What's so boring about it? Is it not a good indicator of how healthy an athletic dept is?

It's because LSU isn't near the top

I'm confused, I saw a thread very recently from a UF fan stating they were #1 with a self generated 0 to first list, and LSU fans claiming it was wrong because no list was credible unless they and Bama were at the top.
The UF fan did get Auburn right though as that was the easy choice. Although, I am sure Grinders and Dores are rustled to find they reside with us in the cellar...

I feel pretty comfortable about where LSU ranks among football, baseball, and basketball. They are also solid in track and field and softball. If other schools or the "Capitol one cup" puts more emphasis on other sports than terrific. Our success in the sports " that matter" is as solid as anyone

Actually it puts more emphasis on and give more points for the revenue sports (thus why Alabama has so many). You only received points for football. So your mediocrity is more than well earned.

"value" is very misleading when you are talking about Capitol one points
