- Follow the most successful HC in L5U's history.

- Contend with the national perception that L5U did Les wrong.

- Be competitive with Bama, Pigs, Bears, et al.

- Lock down the La. state line in recruiting.

- Run the type of offensive system the rantards have been clamoring for.

- Unite the Negas and the Posis.

- Develop a QB.

I'm sure that there's plenty more.

We did ok following Saban.

- Contend with the national perception that L5U did Les wrong.

Most pundits in the know realize that Les has become a joke.

- Be competitive with Bama, Pigs, Bears, et al.

With a new coach, that's a forgone conclusion.

- Lock down the La. state line in recruiting.

Most LA kids dream of playing at LSU.

- Run the type of offensive system the rantards have been clamoring for.

Any well-coached system will be a major step up.

- Unite the Negas and the Posis.

For the first time in a long time, both sides are finally united thanks to the last 3 games.

- Develop a QB.

Harris has natural talent. Just needs some decent coaching and a decent system to play under.

Waiting too long to bring in a new coach won't change this.

- Contend with the national perception that L5U did Les wrong.
Incorrect statement is incorrect. It sure didn't sound that way listening to Verne and Gary yesterday. The most they could come up with was that Miles "might" deserve another year. LSU can live with that.

- Be competitive with Bama, Pigs, Bears, et al.
This statement is true no matter who LSU's coach is, and its currently not happening.

- Lock down the La. state line in recruiting.
Again, this statement is true no matter who LSU's coach is, and its currently not happening.

- Run the type of offensive system the rantards have been clamoring for.
You mean an offense that ranks better than 105th in the nation in passing? If so, then you are correct on this one.

- Unite the Negas and the Posis.
Will never happen. When the new coach is hired, whoever it is, the Negas and Posis will merely switch sides.

- Develop a QB.

Bingo.

If LSU dumps Les they will be following the Auburn MO. Beat Bama or find a new coach. Both Les and Gus beat Saban early on but now Saban has figured both of these guys out. The problem is that you can't beat Saban consistently. No one can. And just like the Bear you won't be able to until he retires. Then you can have your Pat Dye and Tommy Tubberville. Both are good coaches that beat Bama several times but you won't have a great coach and if you do it won't be for long because they are reserved for Bama.

I mean, if bama would have lost the last three like this under saban, someone on that staff would have been fired.

Its funny Bama fans are acting like its beneath them to bitch about the performance of their team.

Every time you reply to one of these L5U morons, God kills a puppy.

Do not give any one of these idiots the satisfaction. You are only playing into their hands.
