To go along with the most underrated player on your team, what about the most underrated position group on your team?

For Georgia, D-line.

Punter

JK Scott would be 3rd in the country for punting average...

...if he had enough punts to qualify

The games I watched of Georgia this year, their d-line was among their weakest units. No pass rush at all.

Georgia's pass rush is mostly supposed to come from the OLBs. It didn't.

Georgia's DL was very good, especially considering all but 1 contributor was a true sophomore or younger.

Riley-Beckwith-Key is the best LB combo LSU has ever had IMO.

But seriously Alabama has three running backs in the top 11 in YPC in the SEC, and they're at 6.0 or above. Damien Harris, the dude Alabama fans and ranters alike thought was garbage last year is averaging 7.45 and is second in the SEC behind Guice

Offensive Line. We all expected it to be a weakness and by the end of the season they were plowing arse.

In Georgia's 3-4, the pass rush is supposed to be generated by the OLBs. DL's job is containment and engagement.

Our OL took a lot of shite from our own fan base early in the season, but we made some adjustments and they ended up grading out as one of the best units in the country.

LBers and DBs also played well all season without much recognition outside our own fan base

Our kicker was pretty good except for one game.

So special teams I guess.

Secondary. Our secondary was suprisingly solid which is a testament to how shite our run defense was. 3 pick sixes, ryan pulley lead the entire sec in pass deflections. Secondary single handily won the ole miss game and knocked swag Kelly the fuvk out
